Are you one of the two expected at the altar and still unsure what to wear for this big day? As spring weddings draw near, OniriQ reviews the season’s wedding trends and suggests looks to adopt: whether you’re the bride or the groom…
Spring 2026 Wedding Trends
Every year, one question gnaws at our soon-to-be-weds… Which trends will take center stage at their wedding? In 2025, lovebirds could indulge in fun and drama: theatrical volumes, convertible dresses, detachable skirts, new colors, puff sleeves, mixes of textures, and a blend of historical and couture inspirations. For 2026, the bridal shows confirm it: simplicity will be the order of the day.
Analyzing current trends, we see a strong presence of clean lines and architectural silhouettes inspired by minimalism for brides. When it comes to fabrics, you’ll need to (at least if you’re following trends) opt for smooth satin, mikado, structured crepe, or delicate lace integrated into modern cuts. As for colors, white remains the top choice among all shades, although Cloud Dancer (Pantone 2026) is subtly beginning to gain ground.

In a more free-spirited vein, we also note the possibility of incorporating subtle details that will make all the difference: delicate embroidery, bolder lace, deliberately accentuated pleats to highlight the waist, and so on. Another trend we love: the strong comeback of the bride who changes outfits multiple times. Indeed, while this custom had faded into the background, it is making a comeback for weddings in 2026, offering brides-to-be a more extensive bridal wardrobe.
The groom, for his part, is following suit by moving away from last year’s experiments with bold colors. In 2026, he’ll unhesitatingly opt for suits and tuxedos in neutral tones ranging from white to traditional black, including beige, sand, navy, and soft pastel blue. When it comes to structure, nothing too wild. Fit takes precedence over a showy effect: start with classics from the groom’s wardrobe, add bolder elements to personalize the look, and above all stick to the essentials, a silk pocket square coordinated with the bouquet, delicate cufflinks, and impeccable leather shoes…
OniriQ’s looks, for a perfect spring wedding
The Bride
Wedding expert Milla Nova:
Whoever sees the bride sees beauty… It’s well known that on her wedding day, the “ Lady-to-be must have no competition. To achieve this and instantly outshine all the other women in the room, she opts for refined beauty, a stunning dress that flatters her, a perfectly arranged bouquet, and a delicately embroidered veil.
For all those who are about to say “I do” and haven’t yet set their heart on a style, OniriQ does its best to offer advice. Among the brands and labels we’ve selected and feel compelled to recommend, we immediately think of Milla Nova. A wedding institution, whether in its home country of Ukraine or across the globe with distribution in some 50 countries, the brand reinvents itself season after season, drawing inspiration from current trends and silhouettes with exceptional craftsmanship.

Anthea satin opera gloves by CORNELIA JAMES – €316.95
ROGER VIVIER Efflorescence satin pumps – €1,690
Thanks to its artisanal expertise, the house offers a very wide range of choices, reflecting the breadth of its expertise: from the very classic draped satin bustier to more extravagant styles—short and adorned with lace—or featuring ultra-puffed sleeves for a dramatic effect. We’re totally smitten this season with the Césare dress, handmade with a mikado A-line silhouette, a draped waist that flows down, and a full skirt with a front slit, ending in a long train. We accessorize it just right with a pair of satin opera gloves by Cornelia James and a pair of Efflorescence pumps in the same material by Roger Vivier.
Vivienne Westwood, the rebellious bride:
For our second suggestion, we turn to a brand that has truly made its mark in the bridal world: Vivienne Westwood. In her ready-to-wear (rather than couture) line, we love the bold choice of a rebellious bride with bare legs in her Nova Cora design. Both modern and traditional, it combines an above-the-knee cut, a soft sweetheart neckline, a cascading draped Cocotte skirt, and elegant “Charming Roses” embroidery.
By pairing the dress with a short, thick lace veil from Self-Portrait, a pair of exceptional pumps from Manolo Blahnik (wedding tradition obliges…), and a Burma choker set with Burmalite synthetic stones, you’ll delight every generation: from your little sister to your mother and, perhaps even, your grandmother! A surefire hit, isn’t it?

Bohemian style from Arakii:
For our third option, we’re thinking of all the brides who adore the bohemian aesthetic. You know, the ones who imagine their wedding with a bouquet full of amaranths, a flower crown on their head, and (most importantly) a flowing dress that doesn’t impose too many rules on the ceremony. For all of you, there’s a risk lurking: not being “dressed up” enough for a reception like this.
To help you avoid that, OniriQ went in search of the ideal dress: rustic, romantic, yet also elegant and striking. We found it, naturally, on the racks of the structured and minimalist brand Arakii, based in Stockholm. From their collection, we highly recommend investing in their long silk dress. We especially love it for its sophisticated look, its stretchy fabric that allows for ease of movement, its diagonal waistline with a corset-like effect, and its V-neckline on both sides.
An ideal choice for those who find beauty in simplicity.

VALENTINO Bowow leather strappy heels – €920
POLÈNE Eroz cuff – €230
POLÈNE Éole Slim hoop earrings – €160
On our end, we accessorize the look with a pair of Valentino pumps adorned with large, romantic kid leather bows, as well as a 24-karat gold-plated Polène set, consisting of a textured, rock-inspired cuff and a pair of simpler hoop earrings to balance the look.
The Groom
On the big day, the groom is no slouch… Far from blending into the background, he stands out alongside the bride with a look thought out down to the last detail. His outfit, chosen with care, must fit his frame perfectly and assert his personality, while each accessory completes the ensemble just right: a subtle boutonnière, a discreet watch, a tie or bow tie perfectly knotted. Because on this unique day, the groom isn’t just there to accompany… he too asserts his presence and naturally draws attention.
Gentlemen, if you still haven’t the slightest idea what suit to wear for your big day, don’t panic. We’ve found three perfect tuxedos for you, along with their accessories, designed to enhance what promises to be one of the most beautiful days of your life.
A star-studded union with McQueen:
Although McQueen offers many iconic jackets in its collection, our choice fell on this bold model which, despite its delicate constellation-inspired embroidery, maintains a understated and perfectly controlled look. An ideal jacket to stand out on the big day and express what’s inside you… right on your jacket!
To pair it with, we recommend balancing the theatrical flair with simpler black suit pants, so the spotlight stays on the star of the show. We’re thinking of the McQueen Classic style (again), which fits this vibe perfectly.

MCQUEEN Constellation Embroidered Single-Breasted Jacket – €3,900
BURBERRY stretch cotton shirt – €455
BVLGARI watch – €6,100
BERLUTI Lorenzo loafers – €1,250
DIOR CD Icon tie – €230
Classic McQueen Selvedge Mohair Pants MCQUEEN – €740
Under the blazer, we layer a white shirt: we’ve selected a style by Burberry, a true mark of quality and impeccable tailoring. As for accessories, we elevate the ensemble with a combination featuring a navy blue Dior tie, subtly echoing the shades of the embroidery, a silver Bvlgari watch, and, to complete the look, a pair of Berluti loafers—simple, yet undeniably elegant.
Attention to detail, with Saint Laurent:
For this second groom’s look, the editorial team at OniriQ presents a decidedly contemporary silhouette, where each piece naturally finds its place, enhanced by remarkable details. The double-breasted jacket by Saint Laurent gives the outfit character and structure, while the McQueen shirt adds a touch of luxury with its roses embroidered in silver thread.
To complete the look, the Ferragamo bow tie underscores the outfit’s formal flair. Paired with a Bell & Ross watch for a more graphic touch, the ensemble is finished off with Manolo Blahnik patent leather loafers featuring a striking detail: the jeweled buckle, the house’s signature, bringing a confident 1950s-60s glamour.

MCQUEEN Sailor Tattoo Rose embroidered shirt – €1,100
SAINT LAURENT tuxedo pants – €1,500
Go for deep blue with Armani:
To round out our selection of groom looks, we present a supremely chic final ensemble: a midnight blue double-breasted suit by Giorgio Armani, whose structured cut and deep hue instantly create a confident and distinguished look. Because, far from the overly conventional black, many people opt for navy on this day of celebration.
To complement it, we’ve chosen a white Fendi shirt, which softens the overall look. We pair it with a graphic Dolce & Gabbana tie that adds energy to the outfit, while the Louis Vuitton cufflinks add a subtle detail that underscores the attention to detail. To complete the groom’s look, Bottega Veneta loafers add a touch of modernity to the ensemble. An ideal outfit for the groom-to-be seeking a confident and polished style that stands out with precision and subtlety.
