Easter is a time for families to get together and make new memories. To mark the occasion, OniriQ has five great ideas for celebrating these special moments in Paris and beyond.

Easter is just around the corner, bringing with it lots of fun! Chocolate, huge tables, and convivial meals... The Easter holidays are an opportunity to enjoy moments shared with family and friends. To help you plan ahead, here are a few places across France where you can celebrate this delicious holiday. From egg hunts to weekend brunches, there's something for everyone…

At Le Meurice, the egg hunt is on!

How can you celebrate Easter without an egg hunt worthy of the name? On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Le Meurice is organizing a chocolate break for children and parents. It's an opportunity for parents to get together and enjoy an enchanting interlude in an exceptional setting. While the little ones enjoy a snack of sugar brioche and fresh orange juice, adults can relax with similar sweet treats. On the program? Egg and shortbread decorating followed by a treasure hunt with a reward of easter treats (chocolate, hazelnut praline) created by chef Cédric Grolet and his team.

To keep the festivities going, Le Meurice is also planning an Easter Monday brunch. Pastries, seasonal vegetables, and lamb will be served to the lucky few who are seated at the table. To finish off the meal, chef Cédric Grolet has created a selection of gourmet desserts such as the Big-Brest chocolate, a hazelnut cookie, and a trompe l'oeil (his specialty). If you still have room, the café has several surprises in store, including the chance to taste the various creations that have made the chef world-famous.

Reservations can be made by email at [email protected] or by phone. Le Meurice, 228 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris.

The Mandarin Oriental Paris gets into the spirit

For Easter, the Mandarin Oriental Paris is offering a variety of gourmet treats through four festive experiences. Let's start with the annual chocolate creation called “L'Éclosion” by consulting pastry chef Julien Dugourd. Measuring 14 centimeters high, the egg is enhanced by carefully sculpted leaves that surround it like a jewel case. Its organic lines are reminiscent of the elegance of the hotel's interior garden and the arrival of spring.

In addition to its exceptional chocolate, the Mandarin Oriental Paris is also organizing a tea party from April 11 to April 27, 2025. Mini lemon basil, cocoa pastries, upside-down strawberry tart, vanilla caramel Saint-Honoré, and rhubarb tart... Tea time is no joke!

If you're still hungry, the Michelin-starred hotel is expanding its offering with a unique brunch planned for April 20. In an elegant setting, guests can enjoy a seasonal menu featuring fresh produce and sweet treats, all created by chef Julien Dugourd. Finally, for children, the Mandarin Oriental Paris is organizing a range of fun activities, such as an egg hunt and decoration workshops to spark their creative spirit from an early age.

Reservations can be made by calling 01 70 98 74 00 or emailing [email protected]. Mandarin Oriental, 251 Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris.

A walk in the countryside at Aux Près d'Eugénie

Leave the gray asphalt behind and head to Aux Près d'Eugénie, a bucolic estate in southwestern France, which is opening its doors for traditional Easter celebrations. Special mention to the egg hunt at Château de Bachen, which welcomes young explorers in search of chocolate. Along the trail, punctuated with little games, they will collect clues leading to the long-awaited Easter treasure. The afternoon will then end with a snack served at the table of the huge mansion, dating from 1780. Aux Près d'Eugénie is also planning a traditional lunch at La Ferme aux Givres and the sale of a caviar egg, the height of chic!
