The latest collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Moncler, unveiled in Shanghai on October 19th during the event “The City of Genius”, is nothing less than revolutionary. The concept of this new car? A Mercedes-Benz G-Class from the 90s, reworked with a contemporary touch, inspired by the artist Nigo. The result? An ultra-limited version (only 20 units!) of the G-Class, available in 2025. We're giving you a preview of the Mercedes-Benz Project G-Class Past II Future, a fusion of fashion and exceptional cars.
A work of art on four wheels
Nigo, an iconic figure in fashion and music, has taken the essence of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, an icon of the 90s, and projected it into the future, breathing new modern energy into it while preserving its original DNA. But you're probably wondering what it looks like, aren't you? A two-tone olive green and gray body, black rims reminiscent of the 90s, and gold accents on the spare tire and fuel cans.

Inside, details such as a restored wooden floor, a Devon Turnbull sound system and detachable “boom boxes” echo the hip-hop culture of the time. All this is a tribute to retro design, while adapting it to current trends. Original, isn't it?

An urban style collection
And that's not all! Mercedes-Benz and Moncler, again in partnership with Nigo, have also presented a unisex capsule collection inspired by the 90s. Between denim jackets, hoodies and parkas with a vintage look, this collection exudes urban culture. Blue, black and green dominate, but touches of orange add dynamism to the whole. These pieces are as much tributes to the past as they are style statements for the present. They will be available from April 2025 and we can't wait to see them.

Mercedes-Benz, Moncler, and artist Nigo take us on a journey between past and future. Whether through the “Project G-Class Past II Future” or the capsule collection inspired by the 90s, this collaboration redefines the G-Class and celebrates the perfect alliance between art, fashion and automobiles. An experience that is both nostalgic and avant-garde, to be discovered in 2025! So, are you ready to drive into the future in style?
