4 autumn fragrances to help you love the rain and cold weather: our warming selection

When the air becomes humid and the first fires crackle, your skin craves something other than summer citrus scents. Make way for autumn fragrances, those that smell of damp earth, crumpled leaves, tonka bean or heated wood. Four unique, sensual and unisex creations to wear like an olfactory coat: Monkeyflower by Stora Skuggan, Above the Waves by État Libre d'Orange, Rouge Smoking by BDK and Amazónico by Granado.

When the days grow shorter and the air becomes humid, our sense of smell is the first to notice the change of season. Gone are the light citrus fruits and crystal-clear waters of summer: our senses crave autumn scents that are grounding and warming. Those that evoke dew-covered grass, burning leaves, damp earth or the smoky woods of a rediscovered fireplace. Fragrances that envelop the skin like a woollen jumper, with notes of musk, hay, tonka bean and patchouli.

Our subtly unisex selection, free from gender constraints, brings together four creations that speak above all to the skin: fragrances that teach us to breathe, smell and warm ourselves once again.

Monkeyflower Stora Skuggan

Under the caress of a golden autumn, Monkeyflower revives the mystery of a lost flower, once musky, now reinvented as a fragrance. Golden berry chamomile and coltsfoot mingle with hay and buttercup, reminiscent of damp meadows at dusk. Powdery musk and milky fig add a soft warmth, like a ray of sunshine on the skin. Between dried grass, sun cream and memories of wind, Stora Skuggan evokes a nostalgic and sensual autumn, suspended between botanical memory and tender melancholy.

Approximately €150 for 30 ml.

Above the Waves État Libre d'Orange

As summer fades, Above the Waves soothes the senses like light filtered through October fog. Created by Mathieu Nardin, this aromatic scent blends bergamot, cardamom and incense with a heart of green and black teas infused with rose. At the base, vetiver, patchouli and tonka bean envelop the skin in a woody, spiritual warmth. More than a fragrance, it is an intimate prayer for serenity: autumn becomes a ritual of returning to oneself, between fresh wind and tea vapour.

Approximately €105 for 50 ml.

Rouge Smoking BDK Parfums

Rouge Smoking ignites the skin with a breath of red cherry and black vanilla, sealed with a bold tonka bean. Without flowers or detours, this skin creation celebrates a liberated, modern and woody Parisian sensuality. Behind its powdery nonchalance lies a tribute to Yves Saint Laurent, with his clean, timeless lines. With bergamot, pink peppercorns and white musk, BDK has created an incandescent, couture and hedonistic autumn, where red becomes an attitude: that of emancipation, gentle and intrepid.

Approximately €205 for 100 ml.

Amazónico Granado

Beneath the canopy, Amazónico unfurls a woody, velvety sensuality, somewhere between damp earth and golden light. Created by Ilias Ermenidis for Granado, it blends tonka bean and cocoa with vibrant patchouli and sandalwood, evoking the elegant humidity of a forest after the rain. The vegetal freshness of mate and the brightness of orange and olibanum mark a lively opening, soon softened by ylang-ylang. A tropical and sophisticated autumn, where nature becomes adornment, between mist, wood and diffuse warmth.

Approximately €140 for 50 ml.

Amazónico Granado

Four creations that do not seek to mask the cold season, but to live it to the full. As if, in the November fog, perfume became our most beautiful coat.
