Lalique or the revival
Since 18 October, in the heart of Rue Royale, Lalique has marked one of the most eagerly awaited moments in its calendar with the reopening of its iconic Parisian boutique. This is a highly symbolic return for the Maison, which is returning to the address chosen by René Lalique in 1935. Through this prism, Lalique unveils a completely reinvented setting in a new light, with substance and heritage.

A symbolic return to a founding address
Inaugurated this week, the new flagship store at 11 rue Royale marks Lalique's grand return to one of its most iconic locations. It is a reminder that René Lalique was one of the pioneers of lighting design, having already caused a sensation at the 1900 World's Fair by presenting his pieces in illuminated display cases: an innovation that was extremely rare in the luxury sector at the time.
By reopening its founding address today, the Maison is reconnecting with the obsession with light that already shaped the boutique at 11 rue Royale in 1935. To mark the 90th anniversary of its original establishment, the Maison is offering a completely redesigned 115 m² space, where luminous arches, noble materials and a palette inspired by the Vosges mountains are writing a new page in its history. This is a way for Lalique to assert its Parisian roots while projecting its identity in a more contemporary language.

Designed as an artist couple's apartment, the space encourages visitors to wander around, with no fewer than 60 crystal swallows welcoming them, a boudoir displaying jewellery, a winter garden showcasing iconic pieces... Not to mention a bar that naturally celebrates the Maison's art de vivre. Each space tells a story of Lalique's expertise, from handcrafted crystal in Alsace to contemporary creations.
Beyond the inauguration, this reopening is a strategic move to affirm Lalique's modernity, showcase its craftsmanship and put Paris back at the heart of its expression. It is a declaration of intent for a company that continues to transform light into matter and emotion into signature.
