May 2025 will be full of surprises in the world of jewelry. As spring colors fashion and its collections, it seems that the same process is happening for jewelry brands inspired by nature and its rebirth, such as Marie-Hélène de Taillac. Some institutions are also deciding to revisit their classics or to innovate for special occasions. To sum up, OniriQ has selected five new jewelry pieces that are not to be missed this month.
Marie-Hélène de Taillac celebrates spring
At Marie-Hélène de Taillac (MHT), the fascinating plum blossom, “Ume no hana” in Japanese, takes center stage in a collection consisting of a trio of pastel rings resembling flowers in a garden. Founded in 1996, the brand, created by French designer Marie-Hélène de Taillac, is built around an enchanting universe inspired by Indian techniques. For the 2025 season, MHT has designed exceptional quartz gems resembling floral candies.
Perpetually inspired by color, the label is celebrating the return of sunny days with stones featuring subtle contours, polished and cut by hand. To further enhance the beauty of these exceptional pieces, the gold stamens have been individually crafted. A work of art to be discovered from now on…

Dinh Van reinvents the legendary pearl
In May 2025, Dinh Van, the label founded by Jean Dinh Van in 1965, revisits the pearl through two different necklace designs featuring the famous Dinh Van handcuffs. The first is a reissue of an iconic piece from the 1990s, a two-tone necklace that screams modernity. It stands out for its contrast between the softness of the pearls and the intensity of the hematite.
The second, a pearl necklace with three Dinh Van handcuffs, is worn as a tie, somewhat like a sautoir, echoing the brand's archives. However, Dinh Van doesn't stop there and also offers a pair of earrings that can be worn alone or asymmetrically. Combining hematite (or “bloodstone”) and freshwater pearls, these new pearled pieces reflect Dinh Van's talent for keeping up with the times and trends.

The star takes center stage at Mellerio
A historic motif at Mellerio, the star is featured in a fine jewelry collection simply named “Stella.” Thanks to the keen eye of artistic director Laure-Isabelle Mellerio, the archives have been reimagined and the two legendary five-pointed stars are contrasted here, one beaded, the other with a polished edge, forming a ten-pointed star radiating light.
Two versions can be combined as desired, one illuminated by a central diamond, the other evoking shooting stars with a burst of diamond-studded chains. With a gold necklace, a subtle bracelet and even a sunny earring, Mellerio blends modernity and tradition to capture the beauty of the star in an exceptional way. The “Stella” capsule collection is not just a range of jewelry, but an invitation to shine for the lucky woman who wears one of these creations.

Zolotas reissues its classics
To celebrate 130 years of excellence, Zolotas is kicking off its celebrations by unveiling a legendary piece of jewelry: “Le Lion d'Or.” This precious 18-carat gold necklace has been ingeniously designed by the label's jewelers with a lion's mouth that opens delicately to close gracefully over one of seven interchangeable rings, carved from different precious stones (mother-of-pearl, amethyst, onyx). A symbol of magnificence, the animal has been one of the brand's emblems since the 1960s. This unisex gold accessory will be limited to 130 signed and numbered editions, a pleasure to be enjoyed only once!

Monsieur Paris pays tribute to the pioneers of jewelry
Monsieur Paris, led by its creator Nadia Azoug, is celebrating the impact of women in jewelry in May 2025. From Jeanne Toussaint at Cartier to Renée Puissant at Van Cleef & Arpels, these avant-garde figures have created unique designs while forging the legends of world-renowned brands. Today, Monsieur Paris has created four rings (Thais, Arès, Héra, Nérée) in recycled 18-karat gold, crafted in the label's workshops in the heart of the Marais district. These rings are enhanced by a colored stone reminiscent of Art Deco architecture (1910-1930) and its geometric shapes. Steeped in heritage and admiration, the capsule collection demonstrates Monsieur Paris' talent for storytelling. The added bonus? You can choose your gemstone to suit your personality.
