Polène transforms into a florist for a pop-up shop

In the heart of Paris, Polène opens the doors of its “Fleuriste Maroquinier” to create a bouquet of eternal flowers. A summer outing not to be missed!

Translated by Bethszabee Garner

A fresh breeze is blowing through the capital, bringing with it a pop-up Polène, the “Fleuriste Maroquinier.” This lyrical name encapsulates the DNA of the brand, founded in 2016, which has always been inspired by nature and its treasures. In the beating heart of Paris's 2nd arrondissement, Polène is swapping its successful business hat for that of a neighborhood florist. For the occasion, you'll find a selection of leather flowers made from leather scraps, the timeless Polène bags, as well as charms to decorate your accessories. Open until July 26, 2025, the Fleuriste Maroquinier seems like the perfect choice for a lasting souvenir or a gift that will last forever…

A refreshing break at Polène

In this sweltering summer, Polène is opening a pop-up store called the “Fleuriste Maroquinier.” The idea originated in an everyday place, a florist's shop, which has been transformed into a fully-fledged artisan space. In this temporary green setting, Polène draws on the florist's experience, where customers can compose bouquets of leather flowers accompanied by dried plants. To create the floral arrangements, the brand called on Rym Boughatene, a floral designer, who trained at the Castor Fleuriste studio and even the Debeaulieu florist. With a wealth of experience in fashion and lifestyle, the florist and interior designer brings her expertise to create magical and, above all, everlasting results (although they should still be kept away from humidity and heat).

Unchanging expertise

Committed to this idea of expertise, Polène invited one of its leather craftsmen to bring the leather flowers to life. His workbench at the back of the store allows visitors to observe each stage of the meticulous creation of these handcrafted pieces. As the brand breaks all records, with $142.7 million in sales in 2023, Polène continues to promote its love for fine materials with this pop-up that combines the beauty of flowers with that of leather. Indeed, the label produces all of its bags and accessories in the town of Ubrique in Spain, alongside specialists in high-end leather goods. The brand's designs are inspired by flora and fauna, resulting in organic collections with soft lines that are perfect for everyday use.

The “Fleuriste Maroquinier” is an experience signed by Plèi, a rewriting of the word “play” from the name Polène for a line created after cutting leather goods patterns, when the scraps are kept in the workshops. Introduced in 2024, the upcycled leather flower collection comes in new colors and is also available as charms to decorate bags. In-store, an embossing machine allows customers to personalize them with their initials. Through this experience, Polène is expanding its range and allowing its loyal customers to keep a lasting souvenir.

Polène's Fleuriste Maroquinier pop-up store is open until July 26 at 67 rue Montmartre, 75002 Paris. Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 7pm.
