With car culture particularly in vogue at the moment, this new collaboration with equipment manufacturer Salomon is set to take the internet by storm. It will undoubtedly be easier for you to take to your heels with trail running shoes inspired by the Porsche 911 GT1.
Pick up speed with Salomon
They've shifted into second gear by announcing a new partnership! L'Art de l'Automobile is teaming up with French brand Salomon, following an initial collaboration on two ACS Pro Advanced models.
This time, they're hitting the road with the Speedcross 3 Kar/L'art and XT-4 OG Kar/L'art, two silhouettes inspired by the iconic designs of late 90s sports cars.
Through this collaboration, Arthur Kar, the man behind L'Art de l'Automobile, has also highlighted his experience and passion to create a unique product. For the Lebanese designer, who grew up surrounded by cars in his family's garage, these pairs are a way of paying tribute to his father and his way of making his customers smile.

On the other hand, he also highlights automotive culture with a nod to the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, which takes place this weekend for its 92nd edition. In 1998, during this legendary race where drivers drive non-stop for an entire day, the Porsche 911 GT1 climbed to the top step of the podium. This year, the race car inspired the design of these two new pairs.
The designer thus has subtly added details from the car's bodywork to the upper. The colors of the car are reflected in the white base with red and blue details, as well as the “L'Art De l'Automobile” branding. To go with these pairs, the collection also includes a few matching clothing items.
The new KAR L'Art De L'Automobile x Salomon XT-4 OG Porsche 911 GT1-98 will be available from Friday 14 June and will be released on the Salomon website on 18 June 2024.
