Christie's irresistible selection: fashionable jewellery for an exceptional auction

Christie's irresistible fashionable jewellery for an exceptional auction

From 5 to 17 December 2025, Christie's presents its major Paris Jewellery sale, a 100% online auction, preceded by an exhibition open to the public from 12 to 17 December at the auction house's Paris headquarters.

Christie's next auction is not to be missed. More than 270 pieces, signed by the biggest names such as Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chaumet, Belperron and Boivin, with a total estimate of €6.4 to €9.3 million. This reflects the momentum of the luxury market and the growing appetite for exceptional jewellery.

The jewellery market continues to undergo a transformation. Historic brands are seeing their value increase, coloured stone jewellery is selling twice as fast as it was ten years ago, and digital auctions, driven by an increasingly younger clientele, account for more than half of all transactions. In this changing landscape, Christie's Paris is opening the doors to its expertise to respond to the quest for an era, and sometimes even a destiny.

Chaumet

With prices ranging from €2,000 to €150,000, the auction is aimed at both seasoned collectors and new luxury buyers. This hybrid positioning, with maximum signature and controlled accessibility, has become one of the keys to the success of the Parisian sales at the end of the year.

Legendary jewellery houses: Italian colours, French lines

Among the flagship pieces, Bulgari immediately dominates the selection with a spectacular bracelet set with emerald, sapphire and ruby cabochons. The same virtuosity can be found in a ring and earring set set with sapphires, revealing the full intensity of the house's colourful language.

Van Cleef

Van Cleef & Arpels shines with a long necklace from the 1970s-80s by Georges Lenfant. A rare piece with a supple architecture and a coral rhythm. A ‘double ball’ ring in rubies and diamonds completes this duo.

Sculptural modernism and sought-after signatures at Christie's auction

A modernist scene unfolds with Suzanne Belperron and her brooch, in gadrooned chalcedony and engraved emerald, captivating collectors with its sculptural form. René Boivin, as coveted as ever, offers around fifteen pieces, including flower rings, precious fish, chrysoprase and multicoloured sapphires.

For heritage lovers, the Belle Époque appears in all its finesse thanks to a convertible brooch by Chaumet, while six fine pearl necklaces remind us that timeless chic remains a safe haven.

A strategic end to the year for collectors. This edition encapsulates everything that makes auction jewellery so appealing today, including the rarity of the stones, the signature of the houses, the rise of 20th-century jewellery, and the increased demand for colourful and wearable pieces. Christie's signs off on its end-of-year sale and paints a picture of the future.
