Once upon a time... A night at the Disneyland Hotel

After two years of feverish anticipation, the Disneyland Hotel reopened its doors last January with a clear (and successful) mission: to transport its visitors to a world of royalty, splendor, and luxury.

On January 25, the spirit of celebration was in the air at Disneyland Paris. The iconic hotel of the same name reopened its doors after extensive renovations. While fans of the park had been able to enjoy the six other themed hotels in the meantime, nothing could match the excitement of finally seeing the pink Victorian icon restored to its former glory. A place to stay with direct access to the attractions, the 5-star hotel has also been transformed into a destination in its own right, imbued with the magical spirit of Disney and rethinking its entire experience and hospitality.

The immersion begins as soon as you step into the lobby, where a fusion of prestigious materials in shades of ivory and gold evokes the opulence of French chateaux, while trompe l'oeil books adorn the walls, reminiscent of majestic libraries. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the Bohemian crystal chandelier featuring Sleeping Beauty's castle, a handcrafted piece made by a glassblowing specialist and imported directly from the Czech Republic. The lucky ones can even catch a glimpse of Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Snow White accompanied by their charming princes, while they are presented with a welcome book that proudly announces, “Welcome to your royal fairy tale!”

Luxury and magic at the Disneyland Hotel

The magic continues in the 487 rooms and suites spread over several floors. While guests are spoiled for choice, they can always count on spaces that meet all the standards of luxury, starting with the superior rooms decorated in shades of blue and silver and adorned with a selection of artwork inspired by 11 Disney classics.

Discreet references are scattered throughout, from the carpeting to the bathroom mirrors. In the Deluxe rooms (with dedicated reception, concierge service, and exclusive access to the Deluxe Lounge), the magical atmosphere is further enhanced by animated canopies that transport guests to an enchanted world as soon as the sun goes down.

For its part, the Castle Club, located on the top two floors of the Disneyland Hotel, offers an even more immersive and refined experience for those who choose to stay there. The Cinderella Signature Suites evoke a fairytale boudoir with their soft pastel color palette, while the Rapunzel Signature Suites, illuminated by a flower with golden petals, charm with their touches of wood, warm colors, and purple.

The Frozen Royal Suite immerses its occupants in an ice palace, with a sparkling chandelier, silver and blue décor, and a balcony overlooking the park. The immersion is taken to its peak and every detail, designed by Walt Disney Imagineering and the Parisian workshop Bournillat, brings the stories to life with remarkable intensity.

Dine with Mickey and the Disney Princesses

After a busy day exploring the park and its attractions, waiting for sunset to watch the most beautiful show, your taste buds will start to tingle. Good news: at the castle, gastronomy is also queen! For a change of pace, visitors can choose between two very different concepts.

At “La Table des Lumières,” you take your seat in a room inspired by Beauty and the Beast with its large bay windows, crystal chandeliers, giant candelabra, and hall of mirrors. The tableware inspired by the enchanted rose and the napkin rings evoking the theme of thorns complete the setting. The menu features sole, lobster, roast meats, and vegetarian options, accompanied by themed desserts such as a cake inspired by the rose from the film. To top it all off, Belle and her Prince, Aurora and Philip (Sleeping Beauty), and Tiana and Naveen (The Princess and the Frog) come and go throughout the meal for an extra touch of magic.

The Royal Banquet offers a more relaxed atmosphere with an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring dishes directly inspired by Disney films and desserts with names such as “Enchanted Roses,” “Bibbidi Bobbidi Pumpkins,” and “Excalibur.” In this portrait gallery (where breakfast is also served in the morning), special guests will greet and delight young and old alike: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, and Daisy, dressed in their finest royal attire, take turns to brighten up the moment.

Royal relaxation: a Clarins spa

And what would a luxury hotel be without its signature spa, now an integral part of the experience? Here too, the Disneyland Hotel has taken advantage of this exceptional revamp to offer wellness enthusiasts a true haven of relaxation and refinement. After a day of wandering around the park, with sore feet and palpable fatigue, there's nothing like the Crystal Pool to recharge your batteries. Under a glass and metal roof reminiscent of the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken in Brussels, the swimming pool and whirlpool invite you to relax. A sauna, hammam, meditation and yoga areas, and a gym complete this revitalizing experience.

The icing on the cake, the Clarins brand has been chosen to pamper guests. Four cabins offer the signature treatments that have made the brand so successful, with the added bonus of a special massage to soothe legs heavy from exercise and backs exhausted from a day of activity. Perfect for setting off on another adventure the next day, or leaving the park with your body and mind completely rested. “Magical,” you said!?
